How to Clear your Cache in Microsoft Outlook for Mac

Apple Macintosh

  1. Right-click (or control-click) your Exchange Inbox  NHSD folder
  2. Click Folder Properties
  3. Click the General Tab
  4. Click Empty Cache

Note: This will clear out any locally cached emails and re-sync your email application with the Exchange server. This process will take several minutes and appears as though nothing is happening. Rest assured, your local cache is being cleared and when the process is complete you will be able to click the OK button.

what about system files that left after regular deinstallation. I used to uninstall apps in regular way until 1 month ago i download App Uninstaller and saw that i have over 3 Gb of different system files.

I did this (empty cache) b/c Outlook was showing I had 1 unread email and there were none. So it emptied out my inbox and now my emails are not reloading! Have I just deleted my inbox?
